Falcon4 Tips Finding Vehicles on Radar
Vehicles can be found on radar by looking at the shape of the dots or how the dots are oriented. The dots that are arranged in a line are usually going to be vehicles. If the shape of the dots are big pixels and look like blobs then they are most likely to be buildings. If the dots are tiny and look like pixels, then they are likely to be vehicles.
Another way to find vehicles on radar is to look in the heads-up display and see if there is a visible object near the target box. Buildings and cities are objects that are going to be visible using the naked eye. Vehicles are going to be objects that are going to be invisible to the naked eye. A good way to see if the radar object is a vehicle is to see if there are any visible objects around the target box in the heads-up display.[See video 1
Groups of stationary vehicles sometimes cannot be detected on the radar at a long range unless you know the location of them, especially if they are not in a straight line. In this case, use the DBS 2 zoomed display on the radar to detect them at range, which requires that you know their location. [see video 2
