Fixing the Dynamic Campaign-Workaround for Falcon 4 BMS 4
Falcon 4 BMS 4 can be made to generate enough barcaps by changing certain priorities. Here is what to do.
1. Enter a squadron on the allied side. Click the priorities button. Click the mission type tab. Slide the missions offensive counter air and strategic strikes all the way to the left. Slide the mission defensive counter air all the way to the right.
2. Enter a squadron on the enemy side. Click the priorities button. Click the mission type tab. Slide the missions offensive counter air and strategic strikes all the way to the left. Slide the mission defensive counter air all the way to the right.
3. Fly missions of your choice until three hours in the campaign time have passed.
4. Enter a squadron on the allied side. Click the priorities button. Click the mission type tab. Slide the mission offensive counter air about one eighth to the right.
5. Enter a squadron on the enemy side. Click the priorities button. Click the mission type tab. Slide the mission offensive counter air about one eighth to the right.
6. The dynamic campaign engine will now generate offensive counter air airbase strikes. The campaign engine will after a certain period of time generate so many offensive counter air missions that they will crowd out the defensive counter air missions. This will happen in about three hours. Fly missions of your choice for about three hours or until you notice that the campaign engine is not generating many barcap missions anymore.
Please note that the dynamic campaign engine with this workaround will work quite well. It will generate interdiction of ground vehicles missions, suppression of enemy air defense missions in addition to plenty of barcap missions. It will work quite well generating every type of mission it should. After a little more than three hours of passed, the campaign engine priorities will need to be adjusted again to get enough barcap missions in the mix.
To make this adjustment, go back to step one again- repeating steps 1-6. Keep repeating steps 1-6 for the duration of the entire campaign. This will make it so plenty of all missions are created including barcaps. The pattern of the steps will be to make it so the campaign engine generates plenty of barcap missions. Then you will allow the campaign to generate offensive counter airbase strikes on both the allied and enemy side. Both sides should have lots of air to air resistance. I haven't tested to see how balanced this makes the gameplay or whether this makes airbase strikes nearly impossible.
